The WMT VMC850 is our flagship 3-axis vertical machining center, engineered to balance high-torque roughing with micron-grade finishing across an 850 × 500 × 540 mm working envelope. Built on a finite-element-optimized HT300 Meehanite cast-iron base and herringbone column, it supports workpieces up to 800 kg on its 1,000 × 500 mm hardened table. Driven by an 11/15 kW main spindle motor (available in 8,000 RPM high-torque belt drive or 12,000 RPM inline direct drive), 40 mm C3 pretensioned ball screws, and a 24-tool servo arm ATC, the VMC850 achieves ±0.003 mm repeatability verified by ISO 230-2 laser interferometry—making it the highest-ROI machining center for automotive suppliers, mold makers, and precision contract manufacturers.
